Utter is calling it a night

Between him and Tom-Tom they got their workout. As the crow flies the ride seems short but when the two of these guys point me down some of Virginia country back roads and it doubles the length.

I ran into scheduling issues as I got out of the hotel late waiting for my package. Then once on the road Tom-Tom kept falling and hitting Utter in the head while I was trying to ride. So we made a few stops then rigged up new mount and they are both fine now. We are just south of Richmond VA and tomorrow I hope to re-explore downtown Richmond and some cool landmarks.

They joys of the open road

I know what I will be doing tonight. Cleaning the bike. NO BUGS WERE HARMED IN THE TAKING OF THESE PICTURE...

Hitting the road for the day

I am just now getting to roll out of the hotel. Stuck around for a FedEx box to come in with some goodies in it. Then went to pack up saddle bag and found Utter had taken a bath. A bottle of helmet fresh spray I had leaked out and he was laying in it. At least he smells better than I do now.

Today is mostly riding and not too many stops. Will post some roadside picks. Did get word there is a technical glitch with video upload to blog. Hmmmm will figure that out when I get into hotel tonight.

Closing touch to a great night

The concert was long anticipated and missing the last couple years made it even better. One thing you need to so is visit davematthewsband.com and read the lyrics of his songs. Their meaning is beyond your pop 40 songs on the radio and I will share a personal note, while I may not be a practicing religous man I do like to think I am spiritual and this music has more meaning to me than most will ever realize. Missed a lot of people I wish were with me tonight for this. One being my better half and the other being the closest thing I have to a brother.
